Mortal Instruments Fan art

Playing catch up posting! Cassandra Clare's new book from The Mortal Instruments series "City of Lost Souls" came out recently. In anticipation I attempted to take on requests for scenes from previous books for the week. I got three done before I got overwhelmed by other obligations.

Turian sketch notes, studies. This is a fun process and I'll have more of these soon!

A Turian fella I designed on the fly from a previous image! I've done a lot of studies on the Turian face since getting a copy of the Art of the Mass Effect Universe, and this is just a small sliver of my labors. Simplifying the design has been a fun process! Still a bit more refining to do, but hey, you start small, right? Will scan sketches/notes soon!
