SO CLOSE TO RELEASE!!
Anyways, the guys are working super hard to get my art in the game, although they are experiencing hiccups that weren't happening before- always at the last minute, eh?
Anyhow, here's a full sketch of the second promo piece I've been working on! Much much further along since this sketch, but that's why it's a teaser! Perhaps when we get a final build, I'll release the finished art! (by the way, the first image, makes a really cool phone background!)
By the way, fans of Requiem Mask might see this as a familiar face- and you may be right to see it. ;)

Titan Tale Promo Art 2
So Monday I posted a preview of some promo art for Titan Tale! I posted a couple more teaser shots on Twitter so I just collected them below...
...although the last two are from something new! Still for Titan Tale though. Excited about this one. Also, the game is in it's final phases so we're looking at a launch date soon. Maybe monday. Cross your fingers!

Promo Art Work In Progress: Titan Tale
Now that I'm not under the Boulder of Deadlines, I have time to post! And I have some room for other creative ventures! And yes, it's still work, but it's nice to do something different.
So promo art in progress for this game. It should come out this week for iphone and android!
Technically, I'm not allowed to talk about it, but someone has to build the hype while the programmers are still scrambling. ;)
This is just the first of a few ideas I had. More this week!

The Refuge: Promo Comic Reject
This comic has been in my to do pile for OVER a year. Unlike the City of Glass fan comic, this one has too many in-corrections for me to overlook. I decided it'd be a more economical use of my time if I scrapped the pages I had and reworked them from the ground up. Sometimes you've got to, especially with the skills I've picked up since beginning this promo comic. Still, here are the first 4 pages (out of 10 ) without text for you to enjoy!

#FanArt: Sailor Stars Work In Progress
After recently finishing the #SailorStars season, I got overwhelmed with inspiration! Here's some line art for a print I'd like to offer. Fans of the show might appreciate it. :)
Also, I tried some brush settings in Photoshop for inking and it is AMAZING! As much as I love Sketchbook Pro, it would be nice to not have to switch between the two.

#Sketch: Goliath Draft
I've always been a Gargoyles fan. A draft of something I'd like to paint and make a print! I referenced a bit heavily from a screenshot of the show itself, so the pose doesn't have the energy I'd like, but I'm pretty happy with this version. I plan to use it to plot out my colour pallet.

Kittens: A Comic
Follow up my last post with a silly, one-shot comic that takes place waayy in the past and has little to nothing to do with the actual Refuge storyline.
Ookami really is an idiot. I don't know how he gets this girl. :)

Fan Comic: City of Glass Page 1
The line art for the first page of a fan comic I started, oh... Hmm... way too long ago now -earlier in the year I think? January? A 3 page interlude of a scene that doesn't even occur (to my knowledge anyway) in Cassandra Clare's third novel "City of Glass." I was inspired and couldn't resist doing this scene inspired by the events leading up to it in the book!
Some of the art looks dated to my eyes, but I look forward to finishing this up soon. When I do, I'll post the excerpt for a bit of context. Until then, enjoy!

Spotlight
A sort of conceptual piece for something I tentatively have planned. Imagry is going to play a big role. Not sure if this was a success or not but I know I need to move on to the next piece!

Working Sand
Just thought I'd post a WIP for kicks I took the other day.
Is that a pun because there's feet involved?
Anyway... this is a beach scene! So a lot of sand is involved (WHAT?!) The screenshop on top is more of a starter one, and the one on the bottom is more complete (with some tweaks)
I'm just pleased with how it's turning out so far. Man, I remember when I first discovered the multiply option many many moons ago.
Photoshop, you've come a long way with what you can do. And so have I! Just a bit anyway.

Things in Motion, projects and more!
I've got a lot of bits and bobs in motion here! Many I hope to add to my portfolio page soon.
Here's a cropping from a commission in progress:
It's much further along, and into the detailing stages now. Colours adjusted, etc. The bunker background was giving me the most issue, but I've settled on something I like!
Then I had this CRAZY IDEA for a group style commission. The concept is simple: create a scene, and perhaps define one or two solidified characters within it, then stage the rest as sketch 'dummies' and offer up those different spots for sale!
This is an idea I had purely for fun.
Am I a bit of a masochist? Absolutely. But how can I expect to learn if I don't challenge myself!
My actors are all solidified and I'll be streaming segments of this piece periodically! and (hopefully) have it complete in time for Christmas!
and then some Ookami sketches for fun:
Both "Young" and "Older" as he will appear in The Refuge (eventually) Older Ookami is such an interesting guy to me, and I'm sad that gesture of him pulling off his tie got cut off by the scanner. I'll have to draw that separately as I like how that turned out.
Fun fact: Ookami doesn't really smoke anymore. I tried it on the character for a while, but decided it was too Cliche'.
and finally, I'm in the process of assisting my wife in a book project! Some business for a local woman (very nice) that she'd like to have for her newphews in time for Christmas.
Not a big production or anything, but also a fun set of challenges. I'm assisting Iron-Gibbet style. I.E. helping with layout/composition/rough sketching. I've never drawn tractors before today!
I'll post what I can when I'm able.
Ah, speaking of which, three more sketches to go! Back to work!
